Her grey eyes saddened, and she looked down, saying softly. “No child should hate themselves. May I ask why?”
“You may ask but it is a complicated answer, one I would not wish to taint this night with.”
“I understand.” she didn’t wish to prod him more, for it is something that is very personal. Bianca then heard a soft chuffing from the hallway. “Samson.” she said, and a large tiger came in, and sat beside her. “Loki, this is Samson, my tiger.”
He looked at her, eyebrows raised.
“You continue to surprise me.”
Bianca reached out to stroke Samson’s head, and she chuckled. “People are scared of him, but he’s very sweet, and he doesn’t harm unless I tell him to. He helps me when I hunt for Evildoers.”
